The Office of President Martelly,

Greetings!

Recently completed was a document entitled "A Means to Provide a Continual Source of Drinkable Water to the Artibonite Department of Haiti", which was submitted to the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC) on February 25, 2011.

The purpose of this document is to describe a system that will provide a continual source of drinkable water to the population of the Artibonite Department of Haiti, and thereby help prevent deaths and sicknesses caused by waterborne diseases (e.g. Cholera, Hepatitis A and E, Typhoid Fever and Leptospirosis), which has been on the rise following the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

While clean drinkable water is a great concern for the Republic of Haiti, the focus of this document is on the needs of the Artibonite Department.

This is due to the untreated water in the Artibonite River that is responsible for the spread of waterborne diseases (e.g. Cholera).

Is there a desire by your office to receive this document?

If so, please have a representative respond to this invitation.
