Success for the new govt. Howto

For the first time in my life as a Haitian, I witness an administration that prioritizes what need to be prioritized.

Although many people, because of their shortsightedness or lack of vision, deem you crazy, I believe that not only are we, the Haitian people have the capacity and resources needed to send our kids to school in a dignified manner, to create jobs for the masses so that we can live because now the haitian people isn't living, to reestablish agriculture so peole can eat and put money into their pockets, we can also do a lot more if the govt consider the following:

1. When making decisions to do anything, the govt has to always prioritize the approaches which will create the most employment possible.

For instance, during this reconstruction period, the govt has to open up factories where everything which has to with construction, to the extent POSSIBLE, can be made here in Haiti.

Otherwise a large part of that money will go right back to countries that are better off than we are.

2. We need to have a clear understanding of Govt. responsibility.

We can't be inactive and use traditional excuses such as we don't have the means to do so. Ponder on this example and get the wisdom behind it.

Just because we don't have the means to build "MODERN" roads, doesn't DEDOANE NOU DE RESPONSABILITE POUN BAY ROUT. ( relieve govt from the responsibility to give roads.

A tow truck here and there, the upkeep of those roads we have whether they be modern roads, or dirt roads, and little things like that are big in a country that's not used to this type of respect.

To be continued...
