USAID Commissions a Report on Haiti Earthquake Death Toll By Stanley Lucas

Preliminary results were released yesterday from a USAID commissioned report investigating the death toll in Haiti after the earthquake.

The report claims that the Haitian government wildly overestimated the number of people killed in the earthquake and the number of people left homeless implying that the Haitian government overstated the numbers to secure more aid.
