The truth of the matter is Haiti CAN make money with "those German stuffs" We can create energy for ourselves and possibly create an export market for elsewhere.

It will not be to countries like the USA which has all the southern states, for instance, part of Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, southern California, Imperial County of which the latter is the hottest place on Earth - Not uncommon to reach 110 degree Fahrenheit during the summer months.

But we could conceivably do business with Canada and other colder climates countries.

We must admit we are not self-starters when it comes to business.

Perhaps that too can change when we understand that business goes hand in hand with science.
