President Martelly In Miami For Medical Reasons

The President of the Republic, Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly, left the Haiti, Thursday, October 27, 2011, bound for the United States of America for health reasons.

He will be taken care of by Haitian doctors.

The Head of State will use his trip to attend a fundraiser to be held in New York by the Goodwill Ambassador, Wyclef Jean. Funds raised will go towards free education program of the President Martelly.

The President of the Republic returns home on November 6.
