Relating to Haitian Elites Are Haitian Secret Societies' Members, Dansezo, I would not have it any other way, Haitian, I am, and Haitian I shall die. Our ancestors paid too much of a heavy price for us not to carry their legacy.

Vodouism is part of my heritage and am very proud of such. Just like the Haitian language is part of my heritage and am very proud of such. I do also speak French because it is part of my heritage.

I don't use the French language as a social separatist tool because that is not what our ancestors would have wanted for us. Catholicism, I chose to reject.

This is a personal choice.

I am a native daughter of Haiti's. The Ceremony of Bois-Caiman is imprinted in every Haitian soul. Having said that, I can relate to Jesus because he was the defender of the Poor and all ethnic underdogs.

Historically, he died tortured defending the masses...

Slaves had no rights and were forced to obey. But I am sure that you realized the slaves were the then Greeks, Italians lower social strata...

Secret Society believers are looking for power, money and social control.

Vodouism is about a certain life order and enjoyment of daily living...

They are too different to be named in the same sentence.

The Bible, although a sensible book was meant for Eurocentric people and Haiti has nothing to do with it. It does not reflect our lives.

Why should we copy somebody else's way of life, when we already have our own?

Happy Holidays,
Ayibobo
