Gonaives on January 1st

I am from Gonaives raised in New york since 1963. As Haitian American this was the proudest day for me to see the Haitian President in our church in front of the most powerful statue of freedom.

I felt wonderful wahtching the ceremony and the speeches on Sunday Independence day. I can feel the future of Haiti coming on. All my to you dear president for putting us on the map from your good work. Haiti has a lot of good left. We need to keep the good pace. I have always felt you would do a great job for our beautiful country and for its hard working people.
