If you were born in Haiti and have been naturalized in any other countries for some reasons.

In many countries, in order for somebody to work for government you have to be a citizen of that country.

Right now, you have to be a citizen to give green card to a family member in Haiti.

So, why make a big deal of double natiionality?

If you were born in any other countries and want to become a Haitian citizen, you are welcome anytime.

There are two types of double nationalities.

Some have to leave Haiti in search of jobs to make a better living, to build their homes in Haiti with the intention of returning to Haiti when they retire.

Others have studied overseas and want to develop literacy, commerce.

They want to bring democracy in Haiti, They want to build a coalition against Restavek, joblessness, homelessness.

They want to end poverty in Haiti.

Once born in Haiti, You never can forget Haiti, the motherland.
