Dr. Jean Bertrand Aristide: A Potential Senate Candidate For West Department in Haiti

This is not surprising to me. Unconfirmed rumors argue that Aristide will submit his candidacy to become West First Senator.

Will he meet the residency requirements of 5 years to be selected among the candidates who will be running for that position?

Jean-Claude Duvalier should have done the same. His son should be running for this position in case Jean-Claude does not want that position.

What do you think about Aristide's candidacy to become First West senation within the Haitian Congress?
