Oh Boy! Here We Go Again!
Haiti has returned to the "Daylight Saving Time" again.

What a joke, what a shame!

In the United States, Daylight Saving Time began Sunday, March 11, 2012, 2:00am, and ends Sunday, November 4, 2012, 2:00am.

Does anyone see the correlation here?

However, in the United States, although there are still contreversies about the Daylightthe Saving Time, but at least Americans claim to have reasons to change their clock back and forth every year.

Keep in Mind people that the Daylight Saving Time does NOT apply to the entire country of the United Stated.

There are a few states where the Daylight Saving Time does not apply including all US-territories.

The reasons US use to change its clock back and forth for example, are: 1) to save energy (electricity) during summer time because the days are longer.

2) So bars and restaurants can stay open past midnight so people can drink and eat more. There are other reasons...

What are the reasons for Haiti to change its clock back and forth during the year?

Haiti is close to the Equateur (Equator), and therefore days and nights are always the same in duration.

There is no electricity in Haiti to save and there are no restaurants in Haiti that need to stay open past midnight because culturally speaking Hatians do NOT eat late in the evening.

Why can't Haiti copy the US on what's really matter most like jobs, respect for its citizens, value human life, love for country, etc..?
