They cannot figured out how a black used first class tactics and strategy to beat them up now they are dissociating Dessalines with the black race. Dessalines wanted his daughter to marries with Petion's son but Petion refused because Dessalines daughter was too dark.
Dessalines was dark skin not 10,20,30,40,50,or 60% caucasian.

Most historians agreed he was born in 1758 near Grande-Rivi
