Regarding Michel Martelly Thugs Are Violating Vienna Convention On Road Traffic, Thank you Darius and Samson and all others who gave feedback on the Vienna Convention on driving...Like I say it is a matter or upbringing, culture and Haitian psyche, albeit an African one.I remember I was on the German Autobahn with some former Haitian Captain and there was a Sperre( a blockade)on the highway due to a terrible accident...and he told me you sure you don't want to squeeze yourself here and turn around
I say No man you can not do that here to which he replied Hell no I rather live in my Country...

There is a certain megalomania, arrogance, innate disrespect for the rule of Laws in our society and as I say it will take another generation to turn things around.

Nevertheless, those of us who have lived overseas have the moral responsibility to correct them when they are wrong whether they are friends, family members or just acquaintances...and the most common thing and stupid answer you will hear is: Oh you think you are a white man now Man and to which I always answer ; Well then the white men must be doing something better
