After 2 long years in power, you just now realized the importance to come up with a Job Program?

Michel Joseph Martelly, s'engage dans la recherche de stratégies économiques d'intérêt national, et la réforme de la procédure de constitution des sociétés, de façon à permettre à l'État haïtien de créer de nouveaux types de sociétés plus modernes et plus adaptées aux réalités de l'heure." Why a committee is needed to come up with a strategy to create jobs?

Wasn't it supposed to be part of your platform as a candidate?

If you want to hear and listen to me I can give you some strategies that would create hundreds of jobs right now.

1)cleaning up the streets of Haiti will create a lots of jobs.
2)start rebuilding/construction of the country will create a lots of jobs.
3)electricity all over the country will create a lots of jobs.
4)building roads all over the country will create a lots of jobs.

There is one problem with these propositions, however, is that the Haitian government never wanted to pay for anything, but expects to get everything done for free. When someone gets hired to do a work that person expects to get paid on time. To work for months without pay, which is the Haitian system, is not the way to create jobs. This is one of the causes for corruption.

The government can bring some revenue to the treasury public by auctioning off all those hundreds of thousand of cars kept in Haitian ports and buy recycling those tons of junk cars of the streets.

The other way to create jobs is by opening the country/Haitian society to the outside world.

Allow foreigners to own properties and allow them to build homes.

Make Haiti a retirement spot in the caribbean which will create a lots of jobs.

It is time that Haitians start thinking outside of the box and stop hallucinating.

Stop being so delusional and out of the illusion that foreigners want to take Haiti and its wealth away from us. Haiti doesn't have anything that anyone wants other than come in and enjoy the beautiful weather, the cheap cost of living, and just enjoy life.

Haiti will never be fully developped and move forward by keeping this strategy out of the equation because Haitians alone do not have the resources and the skills to modernize and move the country forward.
