Taiwan Ambassador Tsai Chiu Hwang at the Inauguration of OFATMA Hospital in Les Cayes, Haiti

On June 10th, 2014, Ambassador Tsai Chiu Hwang, the Ambassador of Taiwan to Haiti, attended the inauguration of the OFATMA Hospital in Cayes, Haiti.

This significant project, which was made possible through the cooperation between Taiwan and Haiti, was funded by the Republic of China and executed by the Taiwanese firm, Overseas Engineering Construction Company (OECC).

During the inauguration ceremony, Ambassador Tsai expressed Taiwan's commitment to supporting Haiti's development and emphasized the strong partnership between the two nations.

He highlighted the importance of international cooperation in advancing healthcare infrastructure and improving public health in Haiti.

The OFATMA Hospital in Les Cayes is expected to provide much-needed medical services to the local community, contributing to the overall healthcare system in Haiti.
