Prime Minister

Garry Conille briefly held the position of prime minister of Haiti from October 18, 2011, to February 24, 2012. under the presidency of Michel Martelly.

His appointment was seen as a promising step towards stability and progress in the country, but his time in office was marred by challenges and controversies.

Conille, a trained physician and former United Nations development specialist, was selected for the role due to his expertise and international experience.

He was tasked with leading the government in implementing critical reforms and addressing pressing issues such as poverty, corruption, and the reconstruction efforts following the devastating 2010 earthquake.

Garry Conille resigned as Prime Minister of Haiti in February 2012 after just four months in that position. His resignation was due to conflicts with President Michel Martelly and other government officials.

Following Conille's resignation, Laurent Lamothe was appointed as the new Prime Minister.
