A Message For President Michel Martelly

Dear President Martelly,

Congratulations on being elected as our next President.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY but my parents first introduced my two brothers and I to Haiti when I was 5 years old. We returned to the US in April 1986. Shortly after our arrival during the disaster, my father was gunned down in our home in October of 1986. Ever since I have had no desire to return to Haiti.

I strongly believe that you Mr. President will truly make a difference in our country and we will all once again reunite as 1.
