President Martelly a procédé au lancement des travaux de construction du barrage de la Rivière Grise, à Dumay, dans la Plaine du Cul-de-sac. Ces travaux qui visent l'irrigation de plus de sept cents hectares, résultent d'un partenariat entre le Projet Feet the Future West/WINNER et le Ministère de l'Agriculture des Ressources Naturelles et du Développement Rural, Vendredi 9 Mai 2014,

Grace à la construction de ce barrage, les agriculteurs pourront augmenter leur production et créer cent mille emplois. Cette initiative va également protéger plus de cinquante mille personnes contre les menaces d'inondation.

The eleven-month program provides senior military and government officials with a comprehensive understanding of governmental systems, the current international environment, structure and function of the Inter-American system, and an opportunity to study broad based security issues affecting the Hemisphere and the world.
