A Message For President Michel Martelly

K J - April 5 2011, 3:11 PM

Dear President Martelly,

Please put a stop to the deportations to Haiti! Tell the U.S government that Haiti is in no position to accept the deportees at this time and that Haiti has alot of rebuilding to do before they will be able to accept any deportees' from the U.S. Mr. President Martelly many of these deportees dont have families in Haiti to support them or help them out upon their arrival which means that most likely they will turn to a life of crime or poverty, so please as the President of Haiti refuse to accept these deportees until such time that Haiti has made significant advances twards its much needed recovery.

Be the voice that the Haitian deportees sitting in jails across America need right now and tell the U.S firmly that they cannot throw these deportees in the middle of your country with no where to go and no family to turn to. Mr. Martelly most of the people awaiting deportation are being ripped away from their wives and children here in the U.S and are frightened at the thought of being sent away forever from their families.

These deportations are being resumed at the wrong time so again we ask that you please stop them from continuing.

I (we) believe that you are a breath of fresh air for Haiti and strongly believe that you will bring positive change to this country.

Haitians here in america are hoping and praying that you will do whats right and help stop the deportations to Haiti from continuing.

Congratulations on your victory Mr. Martelly and we wish you luck and many blessings.

Best Reguards,

K.J
