A Message For President Michel Martelly
Dear President Martelly, my name is Magalie Laurent.
I am a nurse at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn New York. I have met you briefly during the Abner Louima story.
I was the nurse that reported that story to the media and the authorities.
Congratulation again and again.
My defending/fighting for you on Facebook and at my place of employment was not in vain. I believe so much in you. I know you will make us proud.
I feel like crying right now as I am getting ready to write the next few words.
I left Haiti in March 26, 1977, I was just thirteen years old. It was always my passion to return there to build a resort near the entrance of Thomazeau.
My father (Antonio Louis) was from Thomazeau.
He was well known there.
I liked the double nationality proposal.
Other countries have it why not us. Good Luck Mr. President.
