La Navasa Island does not belong to Haiti anymore.
It was taken back from Haiti right after the departure of Aristide who refused to hand it over to US ok. It is a sea level Island which is not suitable for any economic development.
It can only be used as a concentration camp or a jail to relocate criminals from the mainland and not those ones from the DR as suggested.
Take care and peace be upon you!
