Although no one doubts the potential of mass media such as newspapers, radio stations or TV to be a tool for the new reconstruction of Haiti, the media industry on the Republic is beset by many problems.

Acces is one, as many people still live in rural areas after the SEISME of 1/12/2010,with little or no insfrastructure.Many corrupt governments also ruthlessly supress all but political partis media members.

A good barometer of press freedom in the country is to be found in the haitian media organisation so called (AJH).

At the same time, many haitians feel that much reporting on the country by the international media paints an unfair portrait of my beautiful Haiti as a hopeless case, beset by corruption, by division, famine etc. Remember the pupet defacto french journalist Joseph Payen in the year of 1724!writing bad press about are Hero: My brother on behalf of the Haitian People, on behalf my President.
