Bravo Lautre Niveau, It is true that the UN or US should be in the business of training our Haitian Army, and the equipment that MINUSTHA has in their possession right now should stay in Haiti for the Haitian Army. Better yet, let Minustha train them and let the Haitian Army replace them as they leave.

It is funny that as you read this thread we over 12,000 Minustha Military and Police personnel in Haiti, and they are from Argentina, Bangladesh, Benin, Brazil, Burkina, Burundi Bolivia, Cameroon Canada, Central African Republic, Chad Chile, China, Colombia, Cote d'Ivoire, Croatia Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador France, Grenada, Guinea, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Jamaica Japan, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Madagascar, Mali, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Romania, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, Sierra Leone, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Turkey, United States, Uruguay and Yemen.

Not to mention the 600 soldiers from the Dominican Republic who was helping Minustha not too long ago. But nowhere do you a any soldiers from Haiti helping their homeland.

To move along, God Bless America, Bill Clinton all that they stand for, but we need to handle our democracy the way that fits our culture and benefits our nation and population.

And since, if it is planted in good soil and nurtured properly it will yield good results; well, what have been the results so far. The results are clear in that the US dollar is worth eight times plus our dollar, which in 1974 was one to one.
The US National Debt or money the US government owe to the world and its citizens is as of as of today at over 14 Trillion dollars or $14,000,000,000,000.00. The The estimated population of the United States is 311,563,168, so each so each citizen's share of this debt is $47,985.84. The National Debt has continued to increase an average of $3.99 billion per day since September 28, 2007! Its highest debts are to China, Japan & Great Britain.

The debt to Great Britain alone rose from $180.3 Billion to $541.3 Billion in just 1 year! So the US debt is over 14 and there is only 8.3 trillion dollars in the world today ;so, so if everyone in the world gave every last penny the US, the United States would still owe still owe 5.8 trillion.

The biggest chunk (about 25 percent of the $8.5 trillion total) is held by foreign governments and Japan tops the list (with $644 billion), followed by China ($350 billion), United
Kingdom ($239 billion) and oil exporting countries ($100 billion).

Bottom line, we need to establish diplomatic relations with Japan, China, England, Israel and whoever else, and see how they can play a role in helping us to move our country forward.

If the US being the richest and most powerful country in the world can borrow money from them to help their system, why can not the poorest country in the country in the western hemisphere borrow from their knowledge and success.

England in particular owes us much, because King Henri Christophe gave their Ambassador 60 million in gold back then to place in their banks for the betterment of the Haitian people and that money has never been used to help our spiritually rich nation.

Instead that money was used to help them build their Navy.
We need CHANGE and not adjustment of the old system under the theory of democracy, but under the reality of the people
